Over many visits and bloodwork appointments with SickKids Hospital, I’ve earned many of these bravery beads. Whenever I think of SickKids, I think of the bravery beads. As a kid, I used to carry around my favourite bead in a necklace (until I unfortunately lost it). The Bravery Bead Program is my inspiration for this collection.
